New York’s Office of the Professions is considering whether to make adjustments to its continuing professional education (CPE) schedule in the wake of Hurricane Sandy, according to Director of Operations Sarah Benson on Nov. 8.
Benson said that since the hurricane, the office has heard that a number of professionals are confused about how the CPE schedule has been affected, and heard from CPE sponsors who expressed concern about how storm cancellations might impact them. “In a variety of areas, we certainly have been made aware this is a concern,” she said.
